It is now into 2012 and to date we have had no wintry weather, surely a great relief for our smaller over wintering birds! Bruno finished 2011 on a high with an Ash and Bog Oak Feeding Avocet going to Sir David Attenborough and a Little Wader in Burnt Wellingtonia to Simon King! Website enquiries have challenged Bruno, but he has managed to deliver various new carvings including; an Elm, Maple and Yew Robin, a Hoopoe, a Grebe and a Tuna Fish!!! Commission a bird sculpture from our online studio!

The Wood Studio specializes in affordable bird carvings in wood and has been successfully in existence since 1987 with 1000s of satisfied customers.

Through this website Bruno will individually carve a bird from his range to your requirement. The wood for your bird will have been carefully and locally sourced; from driftwood, storm felled trees, railway sleepers and local tree surgeons. Bruno favours Yew, Spalted Beech, Oak, Brown Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Laburnum and Wellingtonia.

Each piece will be hand sanded, oiled and waxed to a highly tactile and natural finish.
